Alex Trebek Email: Sony Pictures Leak Reveals Iconic Host Almost Left Jeopardy

It seems like every day new information regarding the Sony Pictures leak comes out to the public, all while the press keeps scattering the e-mails that got hacked earlier this month; now, it has been revealed through an Alex Trebek email that the famous host was about to quit "Jeopardy."

After hosting "Jeopardy" for thirty years, the Alex Trebek email has shed some light on the fact that the famous Canadian-American host had a problem so big with Sony executives that the almost quit the job that American audiences have known him for since 1984.

According to Inquisitr, the latest news regarding the Sony Pictures leak concerns one of the most beloved syndicated television shows in America. It seems that some serious drama erupted after a recording of "Jeopardy! Kids," as host Alex Trebek's email showed that he was very unhappy with the way things were being handled and threatened to quit.

Trebek's current contract has the host scheduled to appear on "Jeopardy!" until at least 2016, but it doesn't keep him from being a victim of "hissy fits," as Radar Online calls the whole incident. It seems that Alex Trebek's email became more and more aggressive due to the fact that he had to re-record a scene during a taping of the show, something that seriously aggravated him.

It seems that the incident was that, during a taping, a contestant (a young girl) was unable to complete the Final Jeopardy round because she was in the red, which really made the girl upset and caused her mother to console her, along with one of the producers of the show, who was writing to the executives.

This is when the host flipped out, and the Alex Trebek email showed that he was quite bothered by the whole thing.

"If I'm making mistakes and saying things you don't like, maybe it's time for me to move on," Trebek wrote, according to Us Weekly Magazine. "It's not a threat, but I want to let you know how I'm feeling."
