Celebrity Diet Update: Katy Perry Uses 5-Factor Diet In Preparation For Superbowl

The 5-Factor diet is what Katy Perry is trying right now to maintain the figure of her body. The pop star wants to make sure that she looks great and perfect during the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show. Like the numerous celebrities that have performed for the halftime show, Perry is really preparing for the big event that is due on February 1, 2015.

The 5-Factor Diet has been created by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak and it aims to provide the proper nutrition for the dieters who use it. A source has talked about the foods that Perry is eating while on a diet and it does not even look like she is on it. The source reveals, "Katy loves her food, and the plan allows her to eat loads. She'll start the day with a ham and egg-white omelet, followed by salmon and dill on crackers. For lunch it's salad, then a soup, then vegetable curry for dinner."

Also, the star is a big fan of sweets so it's fortunate that the said diet allows her to indulge into the guilty pleasures and not totally bring herself into thinking that it's not good for her. The source explains, "She's allowed a sweet treat if she fancies, and usually has a small ice cream or some chocolate raisins." According to other reports, it is not a fad diet and is meant to be a lifestyle diet. It makes your body fit and not just temporarily lose weight just like those that other celebrities try.

Basically, all meals for the 5-Factor Diet are needed to have the five core ingredients. Here are the examples and the ingredients: lean protein like fish or fat-free dairy, complex carbs like beans or quinoa, fiber-rich foods like whole-grain cereal or fruits and veggies with edible skin, healthy fat from foods like salmon or olive oil, and a sugar-free drink like tea or water. The diet also includes a "cheat day" allowing you to eat whatever you want.

Also, the 5-Factor diet includes exercise as it is very important to keep you healthy and fit. One should work out for at least 25 minutes and five times a week.
