Harry London Caught Fire On Thanksgiving: Orders Put On Stop

Harry London Fire - The chocolate place, Harry London, caught fire on Thanksgiving and is now unable to take new orders.

The unfortunate event happened in Maple Heights, Ohio, where the warehouse is situated. The positive side is that there were no injured, the not so positive side is that Harry London chocolate will not be available for a while.

"While we are currently unable to fill Harry London orders, we are pleased to announce that our state-of-the-art production facility is working around the clock to have your favorite Harry London items available as soon as possible," was part of the message posted on the site.

What is available, though, is a "number of Fannie Fay Fine Chocolates," which mainly consists of Fannie Fay Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The blaze began on Thanksgiving's Thursday morning and the authorities haven't been able to detect the cause of the blaze yet.

A lot of firefighters from different departments appeared at the scene to stop the fire from spreading. Also, other hazardous material units stood by because of the ammonia that the center had, WTRF noted.

Fannie Fay Chocolates and Harry London are divisions owned by 1-800-Flowers.com. The company did not only inform through the site about the fire but also about contingency plans.

It's not only unfortunate that a fire occurred to Harry London chocolate company, but also the fact that it happened on Thanksgiving.

This particular day and then Christmas Eve and even New Year are all the major holidays in which people eat multiple chocolate, among other sweets. Still, chocolate is the prominent one.

Hopefully, Harry London and Fanny Fay will be able to work normally once again soon, not only because it is actually the season for chocolates but also to put this unfortunate event behind them and deliver the best chocolates once again.
