'Orange is the New Black' Spoilers & Update: Taryn Manning’s Arrest Details‏

Taryn Manning plays a prisoner in Netflix which came true in real life when she got arrested on Tuesday in New York and charged of criminal contempt, an allegation which the actress strongly denies.

It was TMZ who first reported the news that Manning was arrested for criminal contempt. It was first reported that Manning has had orders to stay away from Jeanine Heller, her former pal, after they ended up in court and was issued a mutual domestic restraining order by the judge.

A follow up report stated that on Tuesday the judge determined that the restraining order was violated by Manning when she threatened to kill Jeanine via text messages and through social media. When Manning did not show up in court, the judge had her arrested for criminal contempt.

Manning took her reaction to twitter and said that everything that's being reported is not true. According her that's not what happened and that there are no charges against her. She claims that she is the actual victim and that the reports are just further harassment and abuse. She also stated that news media reports are incorrect information and ranted at TMZ for not getting all their facts right and not telling the whole story.

Stacey Richman, Manning's lawyer, released a statement saying that the District Attorney did not prosecute Manning and her arrest was voided for the allegation was false.

Heller was also reported to have been arrested in the past for stalking Manning which makes the story a little bit confusing. So they were first friends, then Heller stalked Manning that's when the restraining order was put in place, and now Manning is allegedly arrested for threatening to kill Heller. What a story. Let's just hope that the truth will unfold anytime soon so that this issue can be put to rest once and for all.
