Bill Cosby, Legendary Comedian, Remains His Silence about Sex Assault against Him

Bill Cosby, 77, is one of the best comedians of his time. However, because of the allegations of sex assault against him made him keep his silence.

It was Nov. 15 when Cosby and his wife Camille appeared on "Weekend Edition Saturday" in the National Public Radio for them to discuss or explained about their loan in regards to their 62 pieces of art collection. Such collection is not an ordinary thing because we are talking about African Art in Washington of Smithsonian National Museum. Towards the end of the said interview, the host of the radio program asked Cosby about the assault case against him.

Simon said, "This question gives me no pleasure, Mr. Cosby, but there has been serious allegations raised about you in recent days." However, after few moments of silence, the news anchor man continued, "You're shaking your head no. I'm in the news business. I have to ask the question. Do you have any response to those charges?"

Again, period of silence and same reaction from Cosby,  "Shaking your head no. There are people who love you who might like to hear from you about this. I want to give you the chance." In the end, the host ended the interview with Cosby and politely thanked his guest for appearing.

Barbara Bowman is just one of Cosby's many accusers. From the newspaper that was published last Friday, Bowman revealed that Cosby won her trust at age of 17. At that time she was an aspiring actress of 1985. He told Bowman to consider him as her own father and made him as father figure. He assaulted the teenage girl for how many times.

These all happened and revealed when Hannibal Buress a stand-up comedian called Cosby a "rapist" during her routine in Philadelphia in which Cosby is residing. Such routine was captured and posted online. As expected, it went viral and gave life to what had happened.

David Brokaw, Cosby's representative said Associated Press that the actor won't be appearing to "Late Show with David Letterman" CBS Wednesday edition which was actually previously scheduled. The representative did not give any explanation as to why Cosby will not make it.
