Cannibal Killed In Florida- The cannibal killed in Florida was shot for eating part of a teenager's face, and for assaulting a retired police officer, Florida authorities claim.
After encounter with the Florida police, it is not yet clear whether the suspect died due to the gunshot wound he sustained or due to the influence of powerful drugs, known as bath salt.
Described as 250-pound and 6-foot-3 by witnesses, the cannibal killed in Florida was said to have super strength abilities for being so strong. He was walking naked along Delray Beach Street, and without any reason attacked a 66-year-old retired New York City officer.
Palm Beach Post reported, the suspect left the location and continued walking towards Colony and started following another man and his 10-year-old son. When he didn't succeed with his plans, the suspect turned his attention to an 18-year-old guy and began eating his face, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said.
As the teenager struggled to fight with the naked man, he used a box cutter knife to defend himself. When the police officers came, they tried to pacify the man with a taser but since he was very tough, they had no choice but to shoot him three times to stop. The cannibal killed in Florida confrontation was rushed to Delray Medical Center.
The senior officer and the teenager were also rushed to Delray Medical Center right after the attacks due to the wounds they sustained.
In May, another Cannibal killed in Florida became the headline for attacking a man's face almost completely. The cannibal who was identified as Rudy Eugene, 31, attacked a homeless old man, Ronald Poppo.
The "face-eating cannibal" was shot four times and was killed by the Miami police as he refused to stop eating Poppo's face.
"The forehead was just bone," a witness claimed. "No nose, no mouth," Police authorities said.
Florida investigators said that Eugene possess the characteristics of somebody who is under the influence of a synthetic drug known as bath salts. They said that the cannibal won't stop chewing parts of Poppo's face because he was under the power of drugs.
The cannibals killed in Florida all exhibit the same thing. They are super strong, and all are attacking their prey's face.
Bath salts are designer drugs and also known as "Ivory Wave," "Vanilla Sky," "Bliss" and "Purple Wave."
The drug's main constituent is almost the same to amphetamines. A person under the synthetic drug experiences paranoia, hallucinations, agitation, increased pulse, and suicidal or unusual thinking or behavior.
The ingredients used for making bath salts such as Mephedrone and MDPV were banned in July 2012.
From the initial investigation, Eugene, the cannibal who was killed in Florida in May has undigested drugs on his stomach. Authorities claimed that he was also a Marijuana user.
