Top Chef Contestant Arrested Over Alleged Domestic Violence

One of the contestants in the latest season of "Top Chef" was arrested as police have reported they have received tips about a possible domestic violence between him and his girlfriend.

27-year-old Aaron Grissom allegedly fought with his girlfriend on Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles resulting to him pushing his girlfriend. The girlfriend then reportedly suffered from a knee injury.

According to the reports, he was arrested at 1:15 in the afternoon and was booked under suspicion of felony domestic violence. However, he was released on Wednesday after he paid the $50,000 bail.

Grissom reportedly works at Bow & Truss, a restaurant that serves Latin cuisine located in North Hollywood. This has been verified by Bravo, the network where Top Chef is being aired.

However, Grissom has written on his personal Facebook and Twitter page that he is a freelance Top Chef looking for a place to call home, in reference to restaurants who might take him in.

Grissom reportedly did not respond immediately when asked about the issue. His girlfriend also has not been interviewed and the case is yet to be investigated as to what prompted the argument.

According to the show and the fans of the show, Grissom is actually the most hated contestant on the current season of Top Chef. He is currently in the winning team of the "Elimination Challenge" in Top Chef and he famously gets into lots of arguments with almost everyone on the show.

He already addressed his behavior as fans of the show continue to bash him. He posted on Facebook on October 23 the following message: "I blame any of my poor behavior on: 1. Watching @BravoRHOC 2. Getting too jacked up on @mtn_dew 3. Rap music #imhuman #notflawless #TopChef."

Grissom is from Tacoma, Washington and has a distinctive tattoo in his arm.
