Angie Harmon, Husband Jason Split After 13 Years Of Marriage [PHOTOS+VIDEO]

Angie Harmon, husband Jason Sehorn are ending their 13 years of marriage, Harmon's representative told People.

The TNT drama, "Rizzoli & Isles" star, Angie Harmon and husband Jason Sehorn have called it quits after 13 years of being together.

Harmon's representative told, "For the sake of their children, they ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this time in their lives."

Angie Harmon and husband, Sehorn who is a former New York Giants cornerback got engaged in a special and romantic episode of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in 1998. Harmon was being interviewed by Leno to talk about her love life when Sehorn surprised her and walked the stage and finally popped the question on is bended knee. The proposal was complete with a serenade from the show's musical guest that night, Elton John.

In 2011, Harmon opened up about the difficulties of handling the distance between her and her family. Splitting time was hard when she had to be in Los Angeles, where the show is filmed, and also be there for her family based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"We don't get out Friday nights early enough to catch a flight home," she told Your Tango. "So I'm here [in L.A.]. We sometimes meet in Texas, a 2½-hour flight for both of us. I miss my kids, so it's hard, but my children are so understanding."

The former "Law & Order" actress Angie Harmon and husband Sehorn admitted that they were strived to keep the marriage intact no matter how long the distance is.

"You have to be really considerate of each other, really kind to each other," she said. "It's a lot of work."

Angie Harmon, husband Sehorn have three children together, Finley, 11, Avery, 9, and Emery, 5.
