Debra Messing And Will Chase Split – ‘Smash’ Lovers Who Turned To Real Lovers Called It Quits

Debra Messing And Will Chase Split - The two actors dated for two years and a half and it seems that the love only lasted for so long.

Debra Messing and Will Chase started dating in 2011, the same year that "Smash" started filming. The show featured them having an affair years ago, then rekindling the romance while doing a musical.

It was rather shocking when the romance started. Debra Messing had just split with her husband of ten years, Daniel Zelman on Dec. 20. The new romance between Debra Messing and Will Chase was announced on the Dec. 28.

In the meantime of filming, Debra Messing shared that she had a lot of fun while doing "Smash" and that everyone was "so professional" in it. Her character was a writer from the musical in "Smash" and Will Chase was an actor in the play.

In 2013, "Smash" got cancelled but soon enough, both actors had new projects. Debra Messing is now in "The Mysteries of Laura" and Will Chase is in "Nashville."

Now, Debra Messing's rep has shared with US Weekly that she has split from Will Chase in amicable terms.

"Debra Messing and Will Chase have ended their two-and-a-half year relationship, but remain close friends."

Debra Messing has a ten year-old son, Roman and Will Chase has two daughters, Gracie and Daisy.

Before they were together, Will Chase had also been married. The now 44 year-old actor was married to Lori Chase from 1998 to 2008. Later on, in 2009 he got married once again  to Stephanie Gibson, who he stayed with until January 2012, according to Daily Mail.

As a matter of fact, before he split from Gibson, Will Chase was already dating Debra Messing.

Now, this smashing couple has split and we'll have to see what will happen to Debra Messing and Will Chase.
