‘Breaking Bad’ Action Figures Get Removed By Florida Mom Petition

Breaking Bad - Susan Myers, a mother from Florida made a petition asking Toys R Us to remove the action figures that they had done of the characters from "Breaking Bad" series because they were a bad example, apparently.

"Breaking Bad" is a TV series that has lasted from 2008 to 2013. It was about a high school chemistry teacher who starts dealing with Meth and makes an entire business out of it.

Susan Myers created a petition on Oct. 12 approximately detailing that Sony Pictures Television and Toys R Us had partnered to make the action figures based on the characters from the world known recently finished series, "Breaking Bad."

There was an action figure of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, so far. Still, the petition in the very beginning gathered about 50 signatures and quite rapidly, after Myers appeared in different shows and posted repeatedly in the petition, it gained more than 9,000 signatures.

Now, with 9,299 signatures, the action figures from "Breaking Bad" have indeed been removed by Toys R Us.

"Let's just say, the action figures have taken an 'indefinite sabbatical'," the brand said in a statement, CNN reported.

Bryan Cranston, the actor who played Walter White in "Breaking Bad" had some words to share on the matter as well.

"'Florida Mom petitions against Toys R Us Over Breaking Bad figures' I'm so mad, I'm burning my Florida Mom action figure," he posted on Oct. 20 in his twitter account.

"Toys R Us puts Breaking Bad toys on 'indefinite sabbatical.' Word on the street is that they were sent to Belize. Nicely played Florida Mom." He posted just yesterday after the toys had been indeed removed and apparently, won't see the light again.

It is happening, though, that parents continue answering to the fact that toys were made anyway by stating that they won't be buying from Toys R Us once again. "Breaking Bad" has certainly made a bad break in this case.
