Porta de Rossi did not expect the kind of grilling she got from talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres when she appeared on her show on Tuesday October 14. The tough grilling is made even more shocking when the person grilling her is her love and married wife Ellen DeGeneres. The talk show queen went ahead and even grilled her on the pregnancy rumours. De Rossi had a brilliant reply lined up.
Porta De Rossi appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show on Tuesday. The actress had the spot light thrown on her from her first appearance on the show. The two are married and have lived in a same sex union for the past six years. The two legally wed in 2008.
Ellen DeGeneres grilled her love on her acting career, her role in upcoming TV show Scandal and even on the baby rumours that have been flying off the walls lately.
"One of the main things that everybody's asking me about and asking you about, and I thought I would let you clear it up, is, if we're having a baby or not," The Ellen Show host questioned her real; life wife.
De Rossi replied wittily. "It would be so fun for everybody if we were," De Rossi remarked. "Did you see it says, 'They're finally starting a family'? Are people really that mad at us?" she went ahead to confirm that the two would not be having any children. She even went ahead to state that one must really be willing to have a child before getting pregnant, which both of the two were not.
DeGeneres went ahead to put her love on the spot with a dunk challenge, something rarely seen on the Ellen show. "For every person that gets dunked, they will donate $10,000. Today that person is going to be my lovely wife Portia de Rossi."
DeGeneres then began dumping balls at a target until de Rossi got dunked.
