Vet’s Prosthetic Leg Found After Being Stolen By Drunken Eagles Fan

Vet's Prosthetic Leg Found - A Vietnam veteran called Sonny Forrestier Jr. got his prosthetic leg stolen on Sunday in an Eagles and Phillies game.

The event took place on Sunday at 8.30 pm when people were coming out of the Eagles and Phillies game that was taking place in the Lincoln Financial Field.

Apparently, a girl came running towards him and jumped on his lap. By doing so, she broke his microphone as an accident. He is a street musician and pretty well-known for standing outside of the games.

"She said I'll pay you for it. I said, that's alright baby, go ahead and have a good time," Forrestier shared.

But then, first thing he knew, she had taken off with his prosthetic leg, which he sometimes takes off when his muscles hurt and has attached to the chair.

It seems like she left running with it and all that he could do was report it. From what he has said, she was dressed with "Eagles" clothes and was "inebriated," as he has shared with ABC 6.

Luckily, the SEPTA Police found the prosthetic leg belonging to the vet on a subway train. It happened around midnight that they got a hold of it and gave it back to the vet.

"I don't think anybody should do that to anybody that's disabled," Forrestier said and then maintained once again that the woman on her 20's was inebriated and "that's all."

He also has allegedly said that there is a surveillance video that has her on camera at the P side of the Parking Lot, where the event unfolded.

Still, the vet whose prosthetic leg was found doesn't believe that any sort of charges should be pressed as once again, she was inebriated and it was a mistake. Not a lot of people would steal a prosthetic leg from a disabled person for the sake of it.
