He said that, while Lawrence was obviously a "smart kid" because she liked him, it was a shame that he was "about 40 years older" than the actress - a number that is not too far off, as the X-Men: Days of Future Past star is 24 and David is 67, which would amount to a 43 year difference between both of them.
When referencing Jennifer Lawrence's Larry David feelings "below-the-belt", David, famous for his self-deprecating humor, suggested: "maybe she's referring to her knees." He added that it was a shame that the timing wasn't right, but that he'd "have fun watching the reality show of it."
