7th Heaven was arguably the best 90's show on air. With a family of raging hormonal teens, a hip preacher dad, a supportive stay at home mum, little kids that drive you crazy and a dog named Happy, the show was full of highlights. A lot has happened after the show ended. Part of the cast is doing good, others not too good, one admitted to molesting young girls and the one is no longer with us. You will not believe this.
Barry Watson, who starred as Matt Camden, has had a couple of high profile TV appearances. He was on Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie and even more recently, Masters of Sex.
David Gallagher, who starred as the teen heart throb Simon Camden, is very much the grown up these days. He's had a small recurring role in Numb3rs, and has made appearances in The Vampire Diaries, CSI and Bones.
Catherine Hicks, who was mum in chief, continues to do good even after the show. She has done plenty of independent movie work. She appeared on the 1986 Star Trek movie The Voyage Home.
Beverly Mitchell, who starred as Lucy Camden, was in Saw 2 in 2005 and was a regular on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
Jessica Biel, who played Mary Camden, the eldest daughter, has had a serious role in movies such as 2006's The Illusionist, but also showed up in Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve. She went ahead to marry Justin Timberlake.
Stephen Collins, as Eric Camden, was the father preacher. He played the head of the house and the reverend. He's had a lot of Broadway work and was in 2007 film Because I Said So. However, a video confession released last week showed the TV Reverend admit to sexually molesting young girls. The confession shocked fans of the show all over the world and even led to UPtv removing reruns of 7th Heaven from its schedule.
Happy as Happy.
Sadly, the canine member of the house is not with us. He's in another place called Dog's Heaven. RIP.
