Gotham Season 1 returns with episode 2 this week, and fans of the show who tuned in for the premiere episode last week will now witness the storyline of future Batman villain, Catwoman. Appropriately titled "Selina Kyle," tonight's episode will mainly revolve around the early days of Catwoman, where she was still pretty vulnerable that she became one of the prey of a child trafficking ring. Detectives Gordon and Bullock will do their best to blow up the ring, but something tells us that it's not going to be that easy. Previously on Gotham Season 1, we were introduced to little miss Selina Kyle, a struggling teen who basically thrives by pick pocketing with the help of some of her friends. Unbeknownst to her, a child trafficking ring is preying on Gotham's street kids, and she might be one of the prospect victims this week. It can also be noted that Selina Kyle was present when Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his parents while she was prowling around the grounds of stately Wayne Manor. However, nothing much has been revealed about Selina Kyle's identity and her personality. In tonight's show, we will get some answers on how Kyle's life will be tangled with Wayne's. Nevertheless, before we can even get there, detective Gordon and Harvey Bullock will try their best to spare Kyle and the other kids from child trafficking. FOX dropped a couple of sneak peek clips prior to episode 2's airing this Monday evening, and based on what we have seen so far, tonight's show will be a Selina Kyle-centric one. Though her cat-like reflexes won't be showcased this week, there will be some action scenes involving her to a certain extent, with the help of Gordon of course. Additionally, the teasers for the all-new episode also hint that Bruce Wayne is enduring a numbing pain following the death of his parents. He could even be heard saying that he's not hurting but rather "testing" himself. Looks like it's going to be another interesting episode this week, so don't miss it.
