The event took place in Venice and George Clooney has been known for being a bachelor for so long and not really seemed interested in getting married that now that it has happened, the big question is: who was there to presence it? He's known for being rather private in his life and relationships, so only very close friendships made it.

His very close friend and Actor Ben Affleck couldn't be there due to work but he did mention it in an interview, excusing himself with, "Some people have to work and everyone else gets to be in Venice!
