Big Brother Season 16 Has Come To An End, With All The Drama!

Big Brother's season 16 was the longest the show has ever had, at 97 days and 40 episodes - but now, finally, the show has its newest victor: Derrick Levasseur, the Province police sergeant.

The 90 minute long drama-packed episode had the three Big Brother season 16 finalists, Cody Calafiore, Victoria Rafaeli and winner Derrick Levasseur pursuing the last Head of Household (HOH) competitions, which later had it down to the two men: Victoria flopped the hang gliders competition (as she was the first to be unable to linger on) and then took twice as long as Derrick climbing a wall that had the faces of every Big Brother season 16 house member on it.

After she was voted out by Big Brother's season 16 house members (except those that had been eliminated in the first 5 weeks), it was up for Cody to decide who would be winning the jackpot prize of $500 thousand; eventually, judges decided that the winner of Big Brother season 16 was Derrick, in an astounding vote that ended up at 7 to 2.

Funnily enough, at the Big Brother season 16 finale there were also a couple of revelations in store: Derrick wasn't actually a park ranger as he had everyone in the house believe (including alliance mate Cody), but rather a police sergeant from Province, Rhode Island. Besides, it was also revealed that Donny had won the title of America's Favorite Houseguest, winning the $25,000 that comes with the award, as reported by CBS News.

When Derrick was asked what he'd do with his money, he just pointed at his wife in the audience and said, "She runs my life. Whatever she says."

Meanwhile, runner-up Cody Calafiore took home the second place prize, which is $50,000. The Big Brother season 16 brought many surprises along its long run, and we can't wait until the next season!
