After months of planning and a lot of media frenzy surrounding the ridiculously attractive couple, Sofia Vergara's wedding to Joe Manganiello finally happened last November 21, when they invited about 400 of their closest friends and family members for a celebration weekend in Florida - but it seems like skipping the wedding was not an option!
Appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" earlier this week, the highest-paid actress on television (alongside "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco) spoke a little about Sofia Vergara's wedding, a fairytale-like affair that both DeGeneres and her wife Portia De Rossi were invited to but didn't get the chance to attend, which obviously didn't sit well with Vergara.
According to USA Today, the actress visited Ellen last Thursday to gush about Sofia Vergara's wedding, telling adorable stories of how her cast mates from "Modern Family" were all tipsy and how the party actually ended at about 6 a.m. - and not letting Ellen forget that she didn't make it to the Florida weekend.
E! Online reports that the Latin American beauty teased Ellen continuously about not attending Sofia Vergara's wedding, asking why she couldn't make "a little more effort" to go, ultimately saying she just "wasn't good enough for you."
"Were you intimidated because of the dancing that was gonna go on there?" asked the Emmy nominee, referencing her Colombian relatives in attendance for Sofia Vergara's wedding, via Refinery29. "You do your little dancing here, but I had a feeling you thought you were not going to be able to... measure up with the Latin people. But there were also American people there. I married an American."
Vergara also said she'd almost brought Ellen's gift bag to the show but ultimately decided not to and gave it to someone else - so the hostess better hope there's a vow renewal coming up soon!
