In these bittersweet days of Christmas while horrible things happen in the world (from the Paris attacks to the most recent shootings in the U.S. and the numerous tragedies all over the globe in between), there are still some people out there who will do anything to get a smile off everyone's faces - and that includes one of the most notorious musicians of the past few decades, as Dave Grohl's Muppets appearance reaches unseen levels of epicness.
Only days after his band, Foo Fighters, released an EP to honor music and the people of Paris after the IS attacks on the city, the superstar and Nirvana alum took a challenge from another iconic drummer, and Dave Grohl's Muppets appearance, with a drum-off competition against Animal, was everything anyone could've ever hoped for.
A few days back, Dave Grohl's "Muppets" appearance had been announced, and with it the fact that the multi-talented musician would be facing his great puppet foe, Animal, in a major drum-off that, according to CNN, saw the two icons calling it a draw after some hard rocking.
As Consequence of Sound reports, Dave Grohl's "Muppets" challenge saw the two rocking out with their manes of hair while they did some impressive drumming solos, with the "Best of You" singer challenging the Muppet by telling him it was "time for school."
The two did an amazing job and ultimately called it a draw, in yet another awesome Grohl appearance with the Muppets, after a small cameo in the 2011 movie, where he played a cheap version of Animal, probably beginning their feud.
For Dave Grohl's "Muppets" appearance on the ABC reboot of the series (which also had Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the musician paired up with the band from Miss Piggy's late show, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, where he played Foo Fighters' hit "Learn to Fly," which he played with the cast, NME reports.
