When she first started out in "Victorious," Ariana Grande's hair was straight and dark red, but it seems that after years of dye she eventually damaged it to the point of being unable to wear anything but a ponytail - now, her hair's healthy once again, and she's rocking some curls in big performances!
Last Sunday, the 22 year-old superstar performed her new single, "Focus," at the American Music Awards, and it wasn't only her amazing performance making headlines, but also the fact that, for the first time in recent memory, Ariana Grande's hair wasn't styled in her trademark high ponytail - and now we know she rocks other 'dos as well!
According to The Daily Mail, the star ditched the typical Ariana Grande hair ponytail to go for something different last Sunday, as she let her locks down to show off her natural curls in a look reminding of old Hollywood in the style of Veronica Lake.
As Teen Vogue reports, as if the fact that Ariana Grande's hair was down wasn't big enough, the young star also showed off a new and gorgeous color, as she flaunted some pretty auburn strands that reminded many of her Nickelodeon days, although her new shade has been previously unseen in the young star's strands, with some shades of brown that look absolutely to die for.
According to Hollywood Life, the person responsible for this new Ariana Grande hair mojo was Daniel Chinchilla, the diva's longtime stylist, who curled Ariana's hair, parting it in the middle and clipping it to the sides for a wavy 1940s look that matched her strapless and sparkly pink gown perfectly, as she showed off some sexy leg action due to a cutout on the front that looked downright amazing.
In any case, check out her AMAs performance in the clip below - and does Ariana Grande's hair look perfect or what?
