Katherine Webb and AJ McCarron's wedding may be hitting the small screen soon.
E! News confirmed that Webb, a former Miss Alabama USA and the Alabama quarterback will reportedly star in their own reality show. The couple recently announced their engagement via Twitter last month; Webb posted photos of her engagement ring and the couple's celebration cakes.
"AJ and Katherine are in talks for a reality series about their lives, but not specifically about wedding planning and the actual wedding," the source revealed.
According to Webb's sister, Laurie Webb, McCarron's proposal to Webb was filmed by the production crew. Laurie, who will reportedly serve as maid of honor, said that the show has yet to find a network to air it on.
"They've already started filming during the proposal," Laurie told the Auburn Plainsman. "From what I understood, it came from someone else. I don't think they were trying to get into a reality show, I think they just had the opportunity and decided to take it."
The beauty queen's father added, "As reality shows go, this would be a wholesome one for sure."
Webb became a media sensation when ESPN commentator Brent Musburger gushed over her during an Alabama-Notre Dame championship game last year. Webb's mother, Leslie Webb, said her daughter was first approached about having a reality show after appearing on camera during the 2013 BCS Championship Game. However she was not interested at the time.
"They think it's a great opportunity," Laurie said. "They can also have a documentation of special times during their life, which will be kind of cool."
The insider told E! that the reality show would be similar to E!'s "Eric and Jessie: Game On" and noted the if production for the show continues it may include the newly-engaged couple's wedding day, which has been planned for July 11.
When and where the show will air has yet to be revealed. McCarron indicate on Twitter that he would not be a huge part of the series.
I think it's funny how people think I am doing a tv show. I play football that's it! What my future wife does is her business #worryaboutyou
