Oh baby, Scarlett Johansson is going to be a mom!
According to a source for E! News, the 29-year-old actress is expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac.
It was just six months ago that the "Her" actress stepped out at the Venice Film Festival wearing a vintage Art Deco engagement ring from her French journalist boyfriend. A representative for the actress confirmed that the two lovebirds were "very happy."
The two went public with their romance in November 2012 after the actress ended her year-long romance with Nate Naylor. But Johansson isn't rushing down the aisle.
"I'm not doing any wedding planning," the Oscar-nominated actress told "Good Morning America" in January. Johansson added that a wedding ceremony was currently the furthest thing from her mind.
Johansson actress told Contact music that her other plans include starting a directing career. She added that she had acquired some screenplays and hoped to be testing out her skills from behind the camera.
"I'm at a point in my life where I'm sure of my choices and I'm interested in so many things," Johansson said.
Her wedding may be on hold, but "The Avengers" actress admitting to the Daily Mail in December 2013, that she wanted children in the future
"I would like to have my own family, that would be nice," she said. "They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else."
Adding: "At some point it is something I look forward to," she continued. "I am fortunate in that I have had a long career--20 years--that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out."
Johansson was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds. They split in 2010. Reynolds married Blake Lively in 2012.
