It's been six years since beloved rock band Oasis officially broke up, leaving both founding brothers to do his own projects, namely Beady Eye for Liam and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds for Noel Gallagher's 2015, with the latter arguably being the more successful one - and certainly the one with the least patience towards the current state of music.
During a recent Noel Gallagher 2015 interview with Esquire Magazine, the 48 year-old rocker ranted against a number of the biggest current stars in the music industry, including fellow British powerhouses like Adele, Ellie Goulding and One Direction - though he doesn't think everything's completely doomed, praising Chris Martin and Kanye West.
"Who gives a s***t what f*****g One Direction do? C*********s, all of them in rehab by the time they're 30," went the brutally honest Noel Gallagher 2015 interview, according to Hollywood Life. "Who gives a s**t what Ellie Goulding is up to? Really? Adele, what? Blows my f*****g mind."
The "Wonderwall" songwriter then went on to point out in this Noel Gallagher 2015 inerview that there were no "rock 'n roll people" anymore, saying that only the likes of Kanye and Martin were saved from all of this - this isn't the first time he praises these two, having shared love for Yeezy in the past and recently collaborating with Martin on Coldplay's latest album.
The Belfast Telegraph reports that at least one star mentioned on Gallagher's rant is totally in denial, as Goulding told a British newspaper that the Oasis star had come up to her during an edition of the Brit Awards to tell her he actually loved her music, begging her not to tell anyone.
In any case, it's clear from this new Noel Gallagher 2015 not one to follow popular opinions - but considering he was an integral part of one of the most iconic bands in the past few decades, he might just get a free pass on his crankiness!
