Kelly Ripa Interviews George Clooney Make-Up Free After Losing Super Bowl Bet (VIDEO)

As punishment for losing a Super Bowl bet, TV host Kelly Ripa was forced to interview the two-time Sexiest Man Alive, George Clooney, while wearing no makeup.

E! News reported that during Thursday's episode of "Live With Kelly and Michael," Ripa walked on stage barefaced after losing a Super Bowl bet to her co-host Michael Strahan.

"Don't adjust your dials. There's nothing wrong with your TV. One of us is wearing makeup today, and one of us isn't," the 43-year-old mother of three told the audience. "Not even anti-shine. I labored under the delusion that I looked OK without makeup until I came out here and I went, 'Oh my God!'"

Ripa had backed the Denver Broncos to win Sunday's Super Bowl. The former soap opera star jokingly let her audience members know that she had never lost a bet before.

"I've never lost a Super Bowl bet, ever, in my life," Ripa replied. "So imagine: A, losing, B, losing and you can't wear makeup and C . . . what's C?"

"George Clooney is here today," Strahan pointed out.

"Which really only punishes George Clooney, who's a national treasure," Ripa replied.

Despite Ripa's fears, Clooney was a perfect gentleman telling the morning host, "I think you look beautiful, you look absolutely beautiful." While backstage, Clooney was kept in a dressing room with a covered TV so he could not catch a glimpse of Ripa before the show.

During the show, Clooney spoke about his new movie, "Monuments Men," his sadness over the recent death of his friend Philip Seymour Hoffman from heroin and playing practical jokes on his dad and famous friends.

"It's not easy to direct Matt Damon," Clooney said. "I catch him stealing every once in a while. Sometimes he'll come out of your trailer and your money is just gone. He also has temper tantrums."

Clooney added: "He wears these huge heels, he's tiny. He only wants to be called by his character name and you can't look him in the eye."
