Cher called Lady Gaga, and the world wonders why. Did Lady G. even answer it?
On Thursday afternoon, November 5, the "Telephone" singer posted a photo on instagram of an iPhone and it has Cher's name across the screen who's obviously giving her a ring. Fans on the social media got excited about the photo thinking it must be something new, saying that Lady G. should answer it because it's not just any ordinary artist who's calling her, umm hello? It's CHER!
The Countess from AHS: Hotel and the "Take it Like a Man" singer have definitely met before, the first time they have met was when they both stood on the same stage during the MTV video music awards back in 2010 and Lady Gaga asked Cher to hold her meat-purse while she gives her speech and receives the award. In which Cher then referred to as the most unforgettable moment she had with Lady G.
There was also when the two decided to collaborate , Lady Gaga and RedOne wrote a song for Cher's album "Closer to the Truth" the song was called "The Greatest Thing", Lady G. was supposed to be featured in it, but unfortunately the track was never released since they can't agree on a better end-product or the final version.
Also, the fans can't ignore the fact that Lady Gaga was looking a lot like Cher with her huge curly hair on the cover of her and Tony Bennett's album called "Cheek to Cheek" in which Cher absolutely loved, she even tweeted on twitter how good it was and why everybody should listen to it.
But really though, what's the call about? Why did the artist intentionally post it on Instagram? Could it be because they're collaborating again? The fans can't contain their excitement with the possibilities that could happen after Lady G. answers the call.
