Toni Braxton Reunites With Babyface For Album 'Love, Marriage and Divorce' (VIDEO)

Toni Braxton has reunited with her "musical husband" Babyface for chance to release an album of duets.

According to the Billboard, the two 90's sensations teamed up once again with new material for their album "Love, Marriage and Divorce." The Washington Post called the album a "fresh, honest look at the ways in which relationships fall apart."

Braxton and Babyface's album includes 11 songs about the experience of a broken marriage. It also includes their own, personal experiences of love, marriage, pain, divorce and hope.

Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds married film producer Tracey Edmonds in 1992, but the couple divorced in 2005. Braxton married Mint Condition keyboardist Keri Lewis in 2001, but divorced in 2013 while working on the album. Their friendly relationship often played out on the singer's reality show, "Braxton Family Values".

"I think because Babyface and I have both gone through divorces, we can relate and we can collaborate together on this topic and make it so others who have gone through this situation can relate," Braxton, 46, told ESSENCE magazine.

Last August, the Grammy-award winners announced that they were teaming up for an album of duets after debuting their single first single off the album, "Hurt You." The duo recently released their second single "Where Did We Go Wrong?"

"Love, Marriage and Divorce" was reportedly set to be released on Nov 25. Braxton said she did not want it to be an anger-filled album.

"We didn't want this to be typical: the guy cheats on the girl and she's devastated," Braxton told Billboard. "Sometimes women have infidelity issues. Sometimes guys get stuck with alimony; sometimes women get stuck with the alimony. Sometimes women pay the bills and do everything. We wanted to talk a little about all of those things."

The album marks Braxton's comeback from her four-year hiatus and Babyface's first studio album in seven years. The musical duo previously worked together on the 1992 track "Give U My Heart."

During an interview with ABC News, Braxton revealed that she had "a terrible crush" on Babyface

"I used to have a terrible crush on him during the first album when we worked together, but then I realized he just sees me as a little sister so [I should] just be the little sister. We're both single, but sometimes you get stuck in the baby sister and the friend thing, and it's there forever...but he is my musical husband. We are married. He doesn't know that, but we're married," Braxton said.
