Bindi Irwin’s ‘DwtS’ Contract In Jeopardy After Clueless Judge Demands Proof That Father Steve Irwin Is Dead And Can’t Sign Release

Nearly a decade ago, on 2006, nature lovers all over the world were saddened when Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin tragically passed away after a confused stingray attacked him to the point of piercing his heart - but there's one judge who didn't find out about this, and it's putting daughter Bindi Irwin's "DwtS" contract in jeopardy.

Nine weeks into Bindi's time in "Dancing with the Stars," a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge is saying the Bindi Irwin "DwtS" contract might not be valid, as the 17 year-old star requires the signature of both her parents to sign the contract and it seems the judge is the only person in the world who won't believe her father passed away.

According to TMZ, although her mom, Terri, signed a form attached to Bindi Irwin's "DwtS" contract to say she'd be giving up all the money her daughter made on the show, the judge is demanding Bindi's father to do the same - which is of course impossible, as he passed away in 2006.

Gawker reports that Bindi Irwin's "DwtS" issue could just be a technicality, as the judge also said that he would accept some sort of paperwork proving that her father passed away, namely a death certificate - although considering how big an event Steve's death was, it should even make sense that Bindi and her mother disclosed one of the millions of articles about his tragic passing, even including his Wikipedia page.

According to Sydney Morning Herald, Bindi Irwin's "DwtS" contract is a fairly big one, as the teen and conservationist was already guaranteed $125 thousand for her participation on the show, which could grow considerably if she were to lead the race at the end.

Hopefully this new problem is no more than a formality and Bindi Irwin's "DwtS" contract will be valid, as she's turned into one of the favorites for the season!
