'Transformers 5' Fresh New Spoilers About Its Plot From The Producer Himself

Fans of Transformers 5  and Michael Bay might be a little disappointed this time that the director has not confirmed that he will be directing this new and fifth installment of the film. According to The Inquisitr, the studio's aim is to actually change its original theme from when it was first franchised. Although Bay is not the focus of this news article, what is so far confirmed is that he will still be very much working on the movie, not maybe as its director but he will definitely be involved in its production.

Bay, who directed the earlier installment of the franchise is said to still be influencing a lot of the things that the audience would expect for Transformers 5. Critics on the other hand, haven't been that supportive of the director but the voice of Optimus Prime who is Peter Cullen doesn't mind working with him.

Cinema Blend quoted the voice actor saying, "I have a great deal of respect for him. He generates a great deal of excitement and energy. He's really a hands-on director. My son is a stunt man and worked in Chicago doing a lot of the driving sequences ... he said he's a very, very diligent, hands-on guy. He creates a great deal of energy and puts everybody on their toes. I would certainly miss him. I think he's brilliant, his mind is unbelievable."

As for the storyline of the movie, producer Akiva Goldsman had a lot to say about it that will certainly excite all fans out there. IGN cited the producer saying,  "Our hope is that they are all interconnected and of course standalone, right? I think architecturally, the best - I think I believe this - the best serialized storytelling has integrity from start to finish of the episode, whether it be TV or a movie or comic book or novel series or short story series."

Goldsman continued, "You want to be able to satisfy both appetites - which I think is very different from procedural or episodic. You want to feed the instinct for the short-term gratification and the long term gratification. So we're trying to do both."
