The world was recently astounded by the unveiling of the Empire magazine cover featuring a barefoot Jared Leto as The Joker in 'Suicide Squad.' Since then, Empire has released four more covers that included a different Joker image, Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Deadshot (Will Smith).
That's right, just four covers. Unfortunately, there won't be any Rick Flag or Captain Boomerang or Killer Croc covers that will be released after the current covers.
But what's so significant about having these four 'Suicide Squad' characters on the cover of Empire magazine? Although The Joker, Harley Quinn and Deadshot were obvious choices, Enchantress seemed like a strange choice to be given a cover.
However, the focus on Enchantress would make sense if she truly is the main villain in 'Suicide Squad.'

Last month, Heroic Hollywood reported that Cara Delevingne's character will be the bad guy in a film filled with supervillains. Enchantress, who has taken the body of June Moone, is planning to resurrect her brother and Amanda Waller has decided to create Task Force X to capture her.
The 'Suicide Squad' Comic-Con trailer was even presented as evidence, since June Moone/Enchantress is in solo scenes throughout the teaser. She is seen in a dark cave (probably where Enchantress takes over her body) and in a tub of dark water. The only interaction she has with a member of Task Force X is with Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), who could be making an advance or threatening her.
At this point, these are still speculations about the role Enchantress will play in 'Suicide Squad' and should be taken with a grain of salt. There is a possibility that the four covers represent the biggest stars in the film, and Cara Delevingne is definitely on the rise after her performance in 'Paper Towns.'
