The eldest of the Lyon kin wants to get immersed in the water and gets baptize but before he can do that, he is set to ask for forgiveness from his family for the things he's done in the past. He's brutally honest with Lucious and Jamal, confessing to them his dark secrets. The end of the episode sees the Lyon family reunite for Andre's baptism. He recounts a flashback of his mother dunking him in a bath tub, as Lucious walks away. Andre emerges from the baptism as a new man, but gets all sad when he sees his father exit the church.

After Lucious' freedom from the law, he sets up Andre to handle the Gutter Life Records - the last job Andre would like to take, so he refused - even after all Lucious' favors to him.

Back at the Lyon Dynasty, things are turning out pretty fine. Tiana is thriving, while Hakeem is preparing the new girl group and Cookie is having a very handsome new employee, Laz Delgado. But things turned a bit messy when Tiana gets jumped by two girls, one of whom keeps a razor blade tucked away on her tongue. Her bag was stolen, and the girls posted a creepy video about it on YouTube, wanting to extort the young star. Cookie, is totally not having it and promises to handle the fiasco that has happened.

The episode also had the Lyon matriarch meets up with Lucious. As she decided to give Vernon's ashes to him.

"Prove you're half human and take the damn ashes," Cookie reprimanded, but to no avail - because as she turns around Lucious was nowhere to be found.

Also, Ne-Yo did a cameo appearance in this episode. He plays as a producer on Jamal's latest album.
