Lisa Stelly and Jack Osbourne Share News of Late-Term Miscarriage

Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa Shelly shared some sad news with fans on Thursday.

The mommy blogger recently suffered a miscarriage. The announcement came just one month after Lisa announced her second pregnancy via her blog, Raddest Mom.

"I have been dreading this announcement," she wrote. "I needed some time before being able to say it. Jack and I lost our baby boy last week. Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time."

Despite the sad news, the couple, who are parents to 16-month old daughter Pearl, are trying their best to stay positive.

"It's important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life's toughest moments," Shelly wrote. "We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives."

The couple married in October 2012, in Hawaii. They announced they were expecting their second child early last month.

"Jack and I are super excited to share with you all that we are expecting our second baby," she wrote on her website Aug. 5. "I am in my second trimester, feeling great & trying not to eat everything in sight."

Shortly after the announcement that she lost the baby, Stelly took to Twitter to thank her fans for all the love and support during this difficult time.

Osbourne, 27, who now works as a TV fitness-and-travel reporter, was diagnosed with a type of multiple sclerosis last year. He is currently training for the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars".
