Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton opened up about their marriage in the latest issue of Prestige Magazine.
In the issue the "Blurred Lines" singer and 37-year-old actress gush about being there for one another, especially during tough moments in their professional lives.
"I don't know if I would still be alive in some ways if it wasn't for Paula," Thicke told the magazine. "She's been my rock, my muse, my inspiration and I love her. The whole way."
"I've been there for his down moments and he's been there for mine," Patton added. "Life is full of peaks and valleys. Robin has always been a great person to remind me to celebrate now. Even when it looks like I've got a role but don't know for sure, he's like, 'Let's celebrate!'"
Thicke and Patton who married in 2005, after dating for more than a decade. The couple welcomed their first child together in 2010.
Thicke said welcoming their 3-year-old son, Julian, changed his life "in every single way."
"My son is my good-luck charm; he's made me not think about myself all day long," Thicke said. "All of a sudden he shows up with his beautiful smile and perfect energy and makes me go, 'Ah, forget my little problems.' He's an amazing child."
With two busy schedules, the high school sweethearts still manage to spend time with one another.
"Talking to each other, " Patton said. "We watch movies. Just sit and contemplate. We have a house with a bit of a view. Listening to music. Talking about what's going on in our lives. We're best friends."
The couple has been spotlighted in headlines recently, mainly for Thicke's behavior.
The couple's relationship came under media scrutiny in recent weeks after Thicke appeared in a sexy music video for his hit song "Blurred Lines." More criticism came after the singer was seen dancing provocatively with Miley Cyrus on the MTV Video Music Awards show stage
Most recently the singer was photographed with his hand on a fan's behind at a party.
According to Life & Style magazine, Lana Scolaro, the woman 20-year-old woman seen in the picture, is claiming the Thicke let loose with her at a post-VMA party. The inspiring actress said the two made out a few times and Thicke claimed his wife was "very chill" and even suggested the two chat.
