Rashida Jones and her sister Kadida and longstanding Band of Outsiders supporters modeled for the clothing brands fall 2013 collection.
According to the New York Daily News, Band of Outsiders hired the two daughters of famous music producer Quincy Jones, as well as, actress and model Peggy Lipton to show off its Fall-Winter line dressed in giant turbans and zip-up booties.
As seen in the photos, placed on Brand of Outsider Tumblr page, the sisters show off a cool fall collection of cozy knits, including voluminous turbans and seasonally black, white and gray hues, as well as a punchy pieces in purple. Kidada Jones wears a giant turban in a new Band of Outsiders ad.
The Jones sisters are the latest celebrities to feature in one of the California brand's Polaroid advertising campaigns, which included actress Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst and most recently Frank Ocean.
According to the Daily News, Band of Outsiders Creative Director Scott Sternberg was behind the camera, shooting the pair at The Dresden Restaurant in Los Angeles.
Band of Outsiders is one of many brands that have chosen to turn to social media this season to debut ads. All week, the brand has been releasing sneak peeks at the Jones' work for the company via its Tumblr page and Instagram accounts. According to E! News, brands like J.Crew, Chanel and Oscar de la Renta have also turned to social media to drum up excitement and draw headlines for their fall campaigns.
Besides fashion the sisters are keeping busy working on their hour-long comedy drama, "The Revengers," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project centers on two twenty-something estranged friends looking for love in New York who are reunited after learning that they've been dating the same guy. When their scheme to humiliate the cheater goes viral, they discover that the revenge business is a lucrative one and set up a business to continue helping others who have been wronged.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will McCormack will serve as executive producers, along with Daniel Dubiecki, who was apout of "Up in the Air," Lara Alameddine and Prep School Confidential author Kara Taylor, who will pen the script.
Rashida is set to exit Parks and Recreation following the NBC comedy's first 13 episodes of the season, as will Rob Lowe. Season 6 premieres Thursday, Sept. 26.
