Following the release of Sam Smith's single "Writing's On The Wall" for the James Bond movie "Spectre", the fans are also on the lookout for the song's official music video.
The long wait is over as Sam Smith's music video for the big movie has just been released, according to reports.The film happens to be the 24th James Bond movie to hit the big screen and it will premiere in the U.S. on November 6, Friday, which will be in the row against a few heavy movie titles.
The new track has remained at the top of music charts, as well as big-named streaming services such as Spotify and iTunes.
Sam Smith, who is a multi-platinum artist, has worked and co-wrote the song along with the Grammy-award winner, Jimmy Napes.
During the announcement of the movie "Spectre", film producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli confirmed the Sam and Jimmy tandem on the film's official theme song.
"Sam and Jimmy have written the most inspirational song for Spectre, and with Sam's extraordinary vocal performance, 'Writing's On The Wall' will surely be considered one of the greatest Bond songs of all time." they said.
Though it is not the first James Bond movie to hit the cinemas, Sam Smith's "Writings On The Wall" is the first James Bond theme song to ever top on UK's Top 100 tally.
Besides getting busy on this big project, Sam Smith is also soaring high in the album charts after he debuted his new album "In The Lonely Hour" which launched at the number 1 in the UK album charts and number 2 in the U.S.
Since the release of his new album, it has already earned five number 1 slots in the UK singles, four Grammy awards, six MOBO awards, Q and AMA awards and three Brit Awards.
The video was released on October 5, Monday, which is also a celebration of the Global "James Bond Day".
