Daniel Craig recently shared his sentiments about playing James Bond and he said that he is willing to play the role as long as his body permits, but doesn't deny the fact that he's kind of getting old for it. Metro said Craig mentioned playing James Bond is getting harder for him.
Craig has been honest about probably getting a little old to still play the iconic role of James Bond, but he is working hard to keep his body fit. In an interview with Event Magazine he said, "I work myself to death. It's getting harder. But such is life. I'll keep going as long as I'm physically able. I'm contracted for one more - but I'm not going to make predictions."
The new and 4th installment of the Bond franchise will be called "Spectre," and Craig is still the man playing the role of the iconic agent. He also said that he almost declined the offer for this new installment after Skyfall but he jut changed his mind and went with it anyway.
Mirror also confirmed the actor's revelation about pursuing the movie and he even said that this isn't exactly his last project as James Bond. He said, "These movies don't get made very often. It's just the fourth time for me, a spit in the ocean. If you don't get excited about making a movie of this size with this cast, with Sam Mendes... then go home." That statement alone just showed the actor's passion for his work.
It was also reported that although he is not doing all the stunt work in the film, he still makes an effort to stay fit. Craig said, "I'm doing less [stunt work, I've got so many good doubles [but] I work myself to death to get fit."
Daniel Craig is one of the most successful actors out there and GQ Magazine dubbed him as the world's weariest James Bond.
