Jennifer Lawrence seems to have inherited her 'The Hunger Games' character's qualities. Like her famous movie character Katniss Everdeen, the actress was unhesitant and fearless in voicing out her opinion regarding Donald Trump's presidency.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly for the promotion of her upcoming movie 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2', the Hollywood star gave her personal opinion about the political candidate.
"If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world," said Lawrence.
The 25-year-old actress, who is now one of the sought after leading ladies in Hollywood films, doubts the sincerity and credibility of Trump. The actress is not buying the Republican frontrunner's campaign and even wonders if what he is saying is actually legitimate.
"I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment. It's either that or it's Hillary's brilliant idea," Lawrence added.
Even the actress' Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson agree with her opinion. The lead stars of the hit science fiction adventure game have the same stand regarding the topic.
"It's a publicity stunt. It can't be real," Josh Hutcherson stated.
In fact, worse than what Jennifer Lawrence thinks, her leading man Liam Hemsworth believes that if Donald Trump wins for presidency, it would lead to the apocalypse.
'The Silver Linings Playbook' star is aware of Trump's words and promised but she is not impressed on him.
"I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, 'I love Donald Trump because he's saying everything I'm thinking and I just can't say it because of the PC factor.' And I'm thinking, 'You are absolutely right. That's who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect,' " narrated the actress.
Jennifer Lawrence's disbelief for the political candidate may have rooted from her role in 'The Hunger Games' which goes against their leader President Snow. The actress may have possibly mistaken Trump as the leader of Panem.
