The conflict between the English singer and a former member of the boy band One Direction - Zayn Malik and the English DJ, record producer and musician - Naughty Boy,was all over after Zayn Malik's first solo effort and he left One Direction over the summer.
Zayn Malik has been friends with Naughty Boy whose real name is Shahid Khan back in March, but come July 15, Malik called Naughty Boy a ''fat joke'' as he accused him of leaking his music video No Type. The message was written in Zayn's account and ended their short-lived friendship.
Malik stated that "Zaughty" tandem was gone, and that he just knew Naughty Boy was accountable for the leak by way of a few pointed - way of unpleasantly rough tweets and his subsequent unfollow diss.
Zayn Malik tweeted, "Someone learned how to upload a video... maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain't shit but a faker," "@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we're friends no one knows you."
On the other hand, Naughty Boy wanting to set the record straight assured Britain's The Guardian newspaper with, "I didn't leak the video." He went on to say, "I didn't leak it. Krept, who is on the tune with Zayn, Snapchatted it. No one put it on YouTube or nothing. I genuinely didn't leak the video... To be honest, it was a bit late to leak the video, the song was old by then, y'know?
The DJ wouldn't discuss what the "spat'' was about only went on to say that he missed his former friend and what they had was "100 per cent genuine". Although Zayn Malik had slammed Naughty Boy as "pretending" they were best friends, Naughty Boy said that it was the real deal.
The English DJ further explained, "At first, I think it was because we're both from working-class Pakistani communities and were both thrown into this business." And while Naughty Boy and Zayn had different levels of fame and success in the music business, Naughty Boy thinks they have a portion of an "understanding that this status is unreal and connecting. As far as one knows, it was also a need to make a real friend in this business for both of us. Like someone genuine, from home."
