Nicki Minaj Show: ‘Anaconda’ Singer Starring On ABC Biographical Sitcom – New TV Venture Mocking Miley Cyrus’ ‘Hannah Montana’?

At 32, Nicki Minaj shows have turned into some of the most sought-after in music, as the Trinidadian-born rapper has evolved into arguably the biggest and most important female rapper out there right now - and she's now going to be telling the world her story!

The singer recently announced there'd be an ABC Nicki Minaj show which would see her starring as a fictionalized version of herself in a show set to air on ABC Family, telling the story of how the "Anaconda" singer grew up in Queens, New York, from a Trinidad immigrant family, with all that Caribbean flavor!

According to Deadline, Nicki Minaj's show will be focused on Minaj's life growing up in 1990s Queens with her family, as well as the evolution (both professionally and personally) that would make her turn into the chart-topping superstar she is today.

For those who wonder whether the "Truffle Butter" star can act, as Forbes reports, Nicki Minaj's show will be giving the world a sneak peek into her talents, as in fact she was an acting student at New York's very prestigious LaGuardia High School for arts, which also includes the likes of Azealia Banks, "American Horror Story" star Sarah Paulson, Marlon Wayans and even Jennifer Aniston and "Firefly" star Morena Baccarin.

"Nicki Minaj is a force to be reckoned with at everything she touches," said Karey Burke, the Executive Vice President of ABC Family's programming and development, announcing Nicki Minaj's show to Variety. "We're beyond thrilled to bring her one-of-a-kind story to our channel. Nicki is an international superstar, yet not everyone knows how inspiring and hilarious her true story is, and we can't wait to share it with the world."

Minaj will also serve as executive producer for the single-camera series - could this whole thing be a thinly veiled way to diss Miley Cyrus after that crazy awkward moment at the VMAs last summer?

Either way, Nicki Minaj's show promises to be an awesome sneak peek into the rapper's life!
