Nearly a decade after the release of the last J.K. Rowling book on the boy wizard and four years after the last film of the franchise was launched on big screens all over the world, the Potterheads live on in social media and blogging sites - and they can now even chill at the Harry Potter bar!
Even though the story of the boy wizard who vanquished the evil Lord Voldemort hasn't been updated in a while, Rowling's creation has continued to have a life of its own, with a loyal fanbase visiting the Orlando theme park and even a few Canadian fans creating a Harry Potter bar.
According to The Guardian, the recently launched Harry Potter bar is called The Lockhart (referencing second year Defense Against the Darks Arts teacher Gilderoy Lockhart, played by Kenneth Branagh) and is located on the west end of Canadian city of Toronto.
While the ambiance of the Harry Potter bar isn't quite as obviously about the boy wizard as many would expect, the references are subtle and fantastic, like the fact that there are no cocktails but rather potions instead and how all the books on the shelves have been written by Rowling.
As People Magazine reports, the Harry Potter bar has a huge number of subtle references to the boy wizard that are certain to pique the interest of those who truly adore the world created by Rowling, with little things like stag coasters, an "All Was Well" sign outside the door and even a "potion" called the Shacklebolt.
According to Time Magazine, the creators of The Lockhart can't offer patrons Butterbeer because the name is copyrighted by Warner, however, they do bring some references of other franchises such as a cocktail called The Captain Picard - so it's certainly a place for geeky culture!
Don't miss the opportunity to visit the magical Harry Potter bar!
