Gwen Stefani's heartbreak following her divorce with Gavin Rossdale may have inspired her to make more music.
"I have never had a writing experience like this. This has been literally channeling unbelievable luck," Stefani told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday.
Despite releasing singles like "Baby Don't Lie" and "Spark The Fire" in 2014, it has been almost a decade already since the singer released a full album.
"I'm always in a rush. I want to get music out always and as soon as possible," she explained. There are still more unreleased songs, however, for her fans to watch out for.
"I have 15 songs, or probably more than that," she said. "I do have more than that because I have a bunch from before but the ones that I'm really addicted to that I'm like, 'OK, these are the ones.' It feels so good and it's been incredible."
After collaborating for No Doubt's "Hella Good" in 2001 and solo single "Hollaback Girl" in 2005, Stefani is looking forward to working with fellow "The Voice" coach Pharrell Williams again.
"Last time I saw him at the Knockouts [on "The Voice"], we were like, 'OK, we have to do something because I am so in the zone,'" she shared. "And a lot of the reason why I'm in the zone is because of him. He's like a motivational speaker. He's literally an angel that comes and, he'll sit here, and I'll be like, 'Really? Ou just said that right now?'"
"It's so incredible to be around him. I love him," she added.
Aside from the famous producer, Stefani is collaborating with younger people too.
"I went in and I found these kids - these writers and these producers - it's a group of us, I call ourselves The Breakfast Club," she explained.
While waiting for her third solo album, catch Gwen Stefani at NBC's "The Voice" season 9 premiere on September 21st.
