'Game Of Thrones' Update: Jon Snow's Return Finally Confirmed! Is Kit Harington Filming For Major Season 6 Scene In Ireland? [SPOILERS]

The world is still holding its breath over speculations that Jon Snow will return in the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' although the show's producers and actors keep insisting that the Bastard of Winterfell is officially dead.

Kit Harington, who portrays Jon Snow in the HBO series, has famously announced that the character was killed when he was stabbed numerous times outside Castle Black. However, the actor has been spotted in Belfast, where the cast and crew of 'Game of Thrones' are currently filming.

Although there were speculations that Kit Harington is only in town to film a funeral scene for Jon Snow, fans are beginning to notice that the 'Testament of Youth' actor has been sticking around Ireland a little longer than expected.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Watchers on the Wall has just reported that Kit Harington has been spotted in the same location where a major battle scene will be filmed. The battle scene is expected to be part of a major storyline in the ninth episode of Season Six, and will involve several northern armies including the Umbers, the wildlings and even the Boltons.

Will Jon Snow finally take Longclaw and avenge the death of Robb Stark? This is the perfect opportunity for the fallen Lord Commander to kill Roose Bolton and his bastard son Ramsay, who has not only abused Sansa Stark but also humiliated Theon Greyjoy.

The report confirms that Iwan Rheon, who plays Ramsay (Snow) Bolton, has been spotted in the same location in Belfast. Could Jon Snow and the Bastard of Bolton finally cross paths in 'Game of Thrones?'

In addition to filming a battle sequence, the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' is currently shooting a scene in Girona that involves actors playing members of a theater troupe. The "play" will tell the story of what happened in King's Landing, where the actress playing Cersei Lannister will be portrayed by 'Babadook' star Essie Davis.
