The premiere of Ryan Murphy's latest show didn't threat lightly when it was time to make up the "Scream Queens" cast, bringing in some of the most recognizable stars from his other shows (namely "Glee" and "American Horror Story") like Lea Michele and Emma Roberts - and now, a newcomer from Hollywood royalty's joining the show as well!
The "Scream Queens" cast, impressive as it is with the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana Grande joining in, now counts Miley Cyrus' ex boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger, as the newest person cast - and he's the second person in his family to work with Curtis, after dad Arnold co-starred with her on "True Lies"!
According to USA Today, Schwarzenegger's job in the "Scream Queens" cast was only announced recently through Murphy's Twitter, barely two weeks before the horror-themed show is set to premiere on Fox.
Schwarzenegger is best known for being the son of action movie legend and former California governor Arnold with ex wife Maria Shriver (and therefore also a member of the Kennedy family), and having dated Cyrus and Taylor Swift in the past, but as Variety reports, prior to joining the "Scream Queens" cast he'd also had a few roles, particularly in the films "Grown Ups 2" and "Stuck in Love."
According to AV Club, there's not much known about Schwarzenegger's character in the series, but it's known he'll be playing a relative to someone else on the "Scream Queens" cast, though it's unknown which one.
The series' cast also includes Oliver Hudson, Diego Boneta, Nick Jonas, Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Skyler Samuels, but it's really anyone's guess who will Schwarzenegger's character be most involved with; back in 2013, he starred on the video of Grande's song "Right There."
The minutiae of the "Scream Queens" cast is just around the corner, as the series premieres on September 22!
