New Users Are Still Signing Up On Ashley Madison Despite Hacking Controversy, Site Brags About Increasing Members

According to Avida Life Media, the parent company of the cheating website Ashley Madison, hundreds of thousands of new users have joined the website despite the hacking incident.

The parent company stated that 87,596 women have entered into membership just last week. Also, 2.8 million messages were sent in the same period of time by both new and returning female members.

In a statement, the company said that the website is still growing despite the breaching attack that exposed the personal data of the users.

"Recent media reports predicting the imminent demise of Ashley Madison are greatly exaggerated. Despite having our business and customers attacked, we are growing," stated by Avid Life Media.

Last month, a group of hackers have breached the data bank of the adultery website exposing the personal information of more than 37 million members into the public. The hacking group who named themselves as "The Impact Team" said that the reason for their invasion is for the sake of the of the members who are experiencing bad business practices from the cheating website.

Many subscribers including prominent individuals were revealed because of the data infestation. Government employees and some federal members of the U.S were identified during the dissemination of data.

Josh Duggar, a famous Christian TV icon is one of the well-known individuals who were subscribing to the cheating website. Ashley Madison's own CEO Noel Biderman was also confirmed on using the affair website which then led to his retirement after the hacking incident.

Despite of the resignation of Biderman, Avida Life Media insisted that the website hasn't slowed down in terms of new members. The parent company bragged that the Ashley Madison app is the 14th highest grossing app in the USA in the category of social networking.  As what Avida Life Media said, they have consistent costumers in almost every zip code of the U.S not including the members in more than 50 countries around the world.

"We think that shows happy customers on a consistent basis." the company explained in a statement.
