Among the artists in the row for this year's MTV Video Music Awards include Pharrell Williams, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, whose names were all announced on Tuesday, August 25.
Other artists who are all set for the event include rapper-director A$AP Rocky, Twenty One Pilots and the rising singer, Tori Kelly.
Reports added that the 'Earned It' singer, The Weeknd, will also be hitting the MTV Awards and he will be performing his blockbuster song "Can't Feel My Face".
Besides Pharrell, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the king of rap, Kanye West's name has also been announced earlier, adding that he will be receiving the 'Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award' to honor his most acclaimed music videos in the pop culture of the music industry.
Previous artists to have received the 'Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award' included a few of the biggest names in the industry such as Madonna, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson.
While the fans are excited as to who are the other artists to perform at the awards night to be held on Sunday, August 30, Kanye West has yet to confirm whether or not he will perform at the ceremony as requested by his fans.
Prior to the announcement, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer, Miley Cyrus was first revealed as the host for the star-studded event.
Cyrus' favorite fashion designer, Jeremy Scott, has reportedly set the VMAs' a little makeover, including the changing of the Society of Motion Picture and TV Engineer's test outline bars for the MTV logo flag, the splashing of colored metals and Scott's signature design of fashion winged sneakers and a necklace with a peace sign.
The initial release of this year's nominees includes Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas and Mark Ronson, who are all coming after the MTV's highest category of "Video of the Year"
This year's MTV Video Music Awards will air in more than 160 countries at 9pm, Sunday.
