George Clooney Home With Amal Alamuddin Paparazzi-Free Haven With 10 Spy Cameras – Despite Neighbors Protests

Seeing as the Clooneys are one of the most famous couples in the world (perhaps only comparable to the Jolie-Pitts and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge), it's no surprise to see that George Clooney's home will be surrounded by cameras to keep paparazzi out - even if neighbors are seeing the situation with raised eyebrows.

The couple bought George Clooney's home in the Thames village of Berkshire not long after their marriage, costing a whooping £10 million (over $15 million), but the country location wasn't going to let Clooney and his new wife Amal relinquish their privacy in their new house, so they set out to erect eight tall poles with CCTV "spy" cameras around the villa to protect themselves from onlookers, something the neighbors thought would damage their own privacy.

According to The Daily Mail, though, the Clooneys have won the right to install the security system, and George Clooney's home will have a total of 10 cameras around the nine-bedroom property.

Express reports that neighbors of George Clooney's home in England protested the addition of the security cameras on poles, saying they would damage the picturesque landscape in the area, but the district council of South Oxfordshire has given the new planning a go.

According to Get Reading, the ultimate changes to George Clooney's home went through after some concessions, after the couple's planning agent, Paul Butt, submitted an amended version of the permit, reducing the height of the CCTV support posts, prompting the council to agree with building as said posts "would not be detrimental to the special architectural and historic interest of the listed buildings or its setting."

In all, building for the security cams must conclude within the next three years, according to the permit; this will apparently present no problems, as it's said that the couple will be moving into the newly renovated George Clooney home later this year.
