NCIS Finale Sets New Story After Gibbs Get Shot- Spoiler Alert!

CBS' NCIS ended their season back in May with the group's team leader Leroy Jethro Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) being shot at the end of it. He was even shot twice by a young terrorist who was just freshly recruited. From there, fans and critics of the show can only assume that the whole story on the coming season is going to be quite interesting.

According to TV Line's interview with DiNozzo's portrayer, he doesn't think it was going to be the cliffhanger of the year on TV since it was pretty obvious that he will return to the show. The question is not if he is returning though, but it is more on how is he going to get back in the story and the impact of everything that happened in his team. There could be ramifications after that show and event in Gibbs' life and that is something that everyone who has been following the show is looking forward to see.

Writing his comeback might be challenging, hence it is something that people would commend about the writers of the show should they manage to pull off the next season to once again be even more interesting.

Meanwhile, actor Rocky Carroll who is also part of the show also said the same thing about Gibbs' return. Mark Harmon's role on the series is kind of the basis of the show still going on. As for Carroll who is Vance on NCIS, it is not a matter of his return but would he even be the same this time. He also explained that the second bullet that hit Gibbs was indeed life threatening and it was not a joke that there is a huge possibility of his demise.

Catch the new and 13th season of NCIS on September 22 only on CBS.
