It's clear that for Zayn Malik, this has been a year full of intense emotions, first leaving One Direction, the band that made him famous in the British "X-Factor" and now going through Zayn Malik's breakup with fiancée Perrie Edwards - but while things seemed chill on the outside, it appears like their split is far from amicable.
Edwards herself is also part of a band, Little Mix, and apparently it's nowhere near splitting from it, as her bandmates stand by her during the very difficult Zayn Malik breakup, not long after the two had bought a house in London and were supposed to tie the knot in the coming weeks.
According to The Daily Mail, days after Zayn Malik's breakup with Edwards, her band, Little Mix, was in the middle of a promo tour in the United States, and during a meet and greet in Arizona, one of her mates, Jade Thirlwall, suddenly dissed her friend's ex.
E! Online reports that more than a statement about Zayn Malik's breakup with Edwards, the whole thing happened through a sign, as Thirlwall was holding one out showing full support for Edwards, reading "Zayn is irrelevant, anyway!" with the other side of the sign reading "Stay Strong, Perrie."
According to The Mirror, Little Mix's hate to the former boy band star may come from the way Zayn Malik's breakup happened, as now rumor has it he may have broken up his engagement to Edwards through a text message, which she received when she was right in the middle of a party with the rest of her band, as they were all celebrating their number 1 single, "Black Magic," which recently went to the top in the United Kingdom.
It's unsure whether Malik is irrelevant or not after his departure from One Direction, but one thing is sure: Edwards' friends definitely have her back during this tough Zayn Malik breakup period!
