Though these days the 32 year-old actor is best known for playing Clark Kent-Superman in the latest DC Comics adaptations, fans got to see him in other roles before that, including Henry Cavill's "Tudors" performance, where he played Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk - and the handsome star has recently revealed how awkward things got while shooting at some point.
With the release of his second installment as the Man of Steel just one year away, it's the best moment for the British star, and it's gotten him thinking about Henry Cavill's "Tudors" days, where he co-starred with "Game of Thrones" bombshell Natalie Dormer - but it seems like things got less than professional during shooting.
The Independent reports that in a recent interview, the actor, who's currently rumored to be on the brink of joining "Fifty Shades Darker," spoke about his days during Henry Cavill's "Tudors" tenure, as he was asked whether he'd ever had an uncomfortable moment with a leading lady during a steamy scene.
"It's only happened to me once," the actor recounted to Men's Fitness, though refusing to specify which Henry Cavill "Tudors" scene it had happened during. "A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts and I hadn't rearranged my stuff into a harmless position. She's basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard."
Of course, the actor apologized many times over this, understandably calling the Henry Cavill "Tudors" cringe-worthy moment "not acceptable."
However, as People Magazine reports, in spite of this once-in-a-lifetime issue, the actor (who once dated "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco) actually has great control of his life and body, speaking in the same interview about how much weight he had to lose, also gaining muscle tone, for his role as Superman.
In any case, that had to be an awkward workday for Henry Cavill in "Tudors"!
