Frank Ocean's New Album Releasing Soon?

Grammy award winner Frank Ocean famously said earlier this year that 'Boys Don't Cry', the much awaited follow up to his critically acclaimed debut 'Channel Orange' would be releasing sometime in July. When the month came and went with nary a word from Ocean, fans were obviously disappointed, taking to social media to voice their displeasure at the lack of new material.

It seems like Ocean may be trying to make amends though. The crooner once again caught social media's attention when he launched a new web store with the URL, boysdontcry.co. His original website frankocean.com also redirected to this new address. This latest move has once again fueled speculation that Ocean's sophomore album may be due any minute now.

The site had nothing of note when it first launched, but curious fans were able to mine the webpage's source code and unearth some pictures of what is most likely new merchandise that will be sold alongside the eventual album.

The garments discovered include a white hooded sweatshirt with two contrasting graphics going down each sleeve. The right sleeve features a black and white checkerboard while the left has a colorful striped print. It's supposedly retailing for $60. The next piece of clothing found in the code was a simple white t-shirt that features the same colorful stripes as the hoodie plastered on the chest area. It has a SRP of $30.

The final item found by fans is perhaps the most interesting. The pictures show what looks like a yellow hued version of skateboarding brand Vans' Sk8-Hi sneaker. However the name attached to the shoes reads 'Yohi Yamamato Y-3 Sneakers.' This could just be a placeholder text of some sort because it seems highly unlikely that a fashion designer like Yohji Yamamoto, whose products usually retail for hundreds of dollars, would produce a shoe with an SRP of $50.

The webstore has since been taken down entirely though and frankocean.com has been restored.
