For nearly 10 years, Keith Urban has been Nicole Kidman's husband, and the Australian power couple is still going strong after their long-term relationship, the second marriage for the Oscar winner after her widely publicized one with superstar Tom Cruise - and now, almost fifteen years later, she still won't talk about controversy regarding why her first marriage ended.
In a recent interview, the 48 year-old star spoke about how she wishes she'd met Nicole Kidman's husband Urban much earlier, as she would've loved to have a bigger family with the country star, after having had two children from her first marriage.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Moulin Rouge" actress recently opened up about her relationship with Nicole Kidman's husband, explaining how close they were and how they always spoke in the first person about their professional careers.
"Keith and I always say, 'We're doing a play,' 'We're doing a tour,' because it is like that -- the family has to do it together," the actress told Vogue, gushing about Nicole Kidman's husband. "I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him. But I didn't. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious. But as Keith says, 'The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down."
It was a very rare comment for Kidman, who's famously very private about her life following her breakup with Cruise back in 2001, when they were in the midst of a months-long scandal after being considered one of the strongest couples in Hollywood.
In the recent documentary "Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief," it was claimed that the reason Cruise stopped being Nicole Kidman's husband was because the Church of Scientology forced him to, though Kidman won't speak of the matter.
A few months back, it was rumored that Kidman's "Just Go With It" co-star Jennifer Aniston was terrified of retaliations to her and fiancé Justin Theroux over a possible documentary on Scientology, as the church is supposed to be a very powerful force in Hollywood.
The Inquisitr reports the reason Kidman won't speak about her past relationship with Cruise and his religion is out of respect for their two children.
